ECM (Enterprise content management ) - is a set of technologies used to capture, store, preserve and deliver content and documents and content related to organizational processes. ECM tools allow the management of an organization's unstructured information, wherever that information exists.
ECM employed the technologies and strategies of content management to address business process issues, such as records and auditing, knowledge sharing, personalization and standardization of content, and so on.
Just like they said, Microsoft released the Office Service Pack 2 on
April 28. In that service pack are a number of improvements and bug
fixes for both SharePoint Server 2007 and WSS. We offered the hightlights earlier, now we look a little deeper.
Service
Pack 2 contains all the hotfixes, cumulative updates, security updates
and public updates put out since the last service pack up until
February of this year. In addition to being a rollup of all these
updates, there are also a number of new fixes and improvements.WSS3.0 Service Pack 2The improvements included in this service pack are the same as those for SharePoint Server 2007 so we'll cover them together in the next section.
